I'm currently in the market for a new dress and I am really confused about which fabric to choose. I've narrowed it down to crepe and silk but I'm not sure which one would be a better fit for me.
I don't have much experience with these fabrics, but I've heard that silk is supposed to be luxurious and comfortable to wear. However, it can also be quite expensive. On the other hand, I have heard that crepe is more affordable but I'm not sure of its quality and durability.
So, my question is, how does crepe fabric compare to silk? Are there any significant differences when it comes to the texture, quality, and overall feel of the fabric? Moreover, what are the benefits of choosing one fabric over the other?
I'm looking for a fabric that is comfortable, has a nice drape, and can withstand multiple washes. I appreciate any advice or insight you may have. Thanks in advance!
